Injection mold Products in Intelligent Tools
Intelligent tools integrate sensors, chips, and automation technologies, with their core components mostly relying on injection molds for production. These injection-molded products need to meet requirements such as high precision, anti-interference, and wear resistance. The following are several types of typical intelligent tools and their key injection-molded components.
Intelligent Measuring Tools
• Laser Rangefinder Shell: Injection-molded from ABS material, with built-in sensor mounting slots and a battery compartment. The shell needs to be waterproof and sealed (IP65 grade) to ensure normal operation in outdoor environments. It integrates a display window on the surface, with a transparent PC injection-molded part protecting the screen, and reserves positions for elastic silicone injection-molded operation buttons.
• Digital Vernier Caliper Body: The main body is injection-molded from glass fiber-reinforced PP, which precisely matches the metal measuring jaws. The surface of the caliper body is printed with scales and touch areas. During injection molding, the deformation must be controlled to ensure a measurement accuracy of 0.01mm.
Intelligent Electric Tools
• Brushless Drill Handle: TPE overmolded injection, with an inner PP skeleton and an outer anti-slip soft rubber, formed in one go through a two-color mold. The handle has a built-in Hall sensor mounting cavity, and wire holes are reserved during injection molding to ensure stable signal transmission.
• Intelligent Sander Base: Injection-molded from high-strength nylon, with a buffer rubber injection-molded pad at the bottom to reduce vibration transmission. The base integrates a dust suction port, forming a smooth air channel through injection molding, and cooperates with a built-in sensor to detect the wear degree of sandpaper.
Intelligent Security Tools
• Infrared Thermometer Probe Protection Shell: A transparent PC injection-molded part covering the temperature measurement lens, which needs to meet high light transmittance (≥90%) and be scratch-resistant. The edge of the shell is connected to the main unit through a buckle for easy replacement.
• Intelligent Door Lock Panel: Composite injection-molded from acrylic and ABS, with a hardened surface. It integrates a groove for the fingerprint recognition module, and the injection molding precision is controlled within ±0.02mm to ensure the sensitivity of fingerprint recognition.
These injection-molded products achieve functional integration through molds, such as sensor positioning, signal shielding, and human-computer interaction, providing guarantees for the miniaturization and reliability of intelligent tools. With the development of AI technology, injection molds are shifting towards multi-material composite molding to meet more complex intelligent functional requirements.
